Simply the best drops. At first there is stinging, but then felt totally awake. Brought 7 boxes back in 2006, and just ran out. Although, not very sure if the US make is as good as the Japanese one. The US Zi contains, just providone, the Japanese version ingredients are- Vitamin B6, Zinc Sulfate, Tetrahydrozoline hydrochloride, Potassium L aspartane, Neostigmine, Methylsulfate, Chloropheniramine, maleate. The Japanese site www.Zi-1.com has great charts on the strength and property of each product. Price wise, it is practically the same. It has a pleasing viscocity which seems to last even longer than ointments, and it soothes upon contact much more than the watery therapeutic "tears" I've used. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find Rohto Zi in any stores since I bought 2 bottles of it over a year ago. The Rohto Vi product is amazingly cooling, but it doesn't give the lasting moisture that serious dry eyes need. PLEASE GET SOME MORE ROHTO Zi, AMAZON!!! I liked them so much I bought three packages at a time, and it was worth it. I recommend these to anyone who has burning or itchy eyes. What sets these drops apart is that they actually give a COOLING sensation, whereas Systane doesn't offer that. There may, of course, be a medical reason for leaving out ingredients that cool, so I'm not slamming Systane, which I also use. But if my eyes burn, this stuff does feel so soothing.
