I have used Boiron Optique 1 for about 10 years. I have allergies all-year-round and work at the computer for 8 hours a day, which, combined, results in irritated, red, and dry eyes. I tried prescription and over the counter allergy drops, which made my sensitive eyes feel worse. At my wits end (no hyperbole there!), I asked an associate in the health and beauty section of Whole Foods if they carried any products that might help. The associate showed me the Optique and Similasan, both of which I tried. The Similasan did not help and it was in a bottle that could not be carried in my purse without risk of contamination. The Optique were the best eye drop I've ever tried AND were easily carried since they are in single-use doses capsules. I don't know what I'd do if they were discontinued!

Me and my husband both suffer from dry, itchy eyes - me more so than him - and our eye doctors have recommended we use drops. We've used Refresh Plus, Systane Ultra and more brands than I care to take the time to mention - all on the recommendation of our eye doctors.

I ordered 2 packages a few weeks ago based on the reviews and I just ordered another 2 packages because they are the best I've tried! My husband said he's used them a couple of times - he doesn't use drops as often as I do - and when I asked his opinion he said he hadn't used them enough to give me one. I used to use the other various brands 2 and sometimes more a day. I get what I can only describe as a 'film' across my eyes and they become irritated. With these, I find that most days I'm only having to use them once a day, even during the work week.

It's allergy season again and every time I check the weather online I also am also seeing the statement "Very High Pollen Level." Anyone suffering from allergies could tell you that without even stepping outside. I don't mind having to carry around tissues or a handkerchief and having a stuffed up nose nearly as much as having eye irritation. Last year I tried Claritin for relief and the burning sensation drove me crazy. Admittedly we all rub our eyes, but to add the burning was just another aggravation (sorry Claritin). I ended up having to use ice packs to relieve the burning sensation in addition to trying to relieve the itchy one.

This year I went to the pharmacy as soon as I started feeling that itchy, burning sensation to see what was available. There are a lot of products out there and I decided to try out Similasan mainly because it had `100% Natural Active Ingredients."

I have moderate to severe allergies. At work, after being on the computer for 8 hours, my eyes get dry and they hurt.
Having them itch, plus the dryness and tiredness isn't good at all.

I bought these because of the reviews, everyone seemed to give it a 5-star overall rating.

I tried them several times and they did moisturize my eyes, but didn't work for actual allergy relief (itchy eyes, watery eyes...etc ONLY dry eyes)

I'm still going to use them when my eyes get dry and tired.

This product did nothing for my eye allergies. I still itched, watered, and was swollen. The fact that it had to be used within 30 days of opening made it even less appealing.

I have terrible seasonal allergies that affect my eyes the most. I also have allergies to pets that have the same reaction...miserable itchy watery eyes. It helps with the sneezing too. This works in minutes! I've tried Patanol in the past and this only mildly controlled my symptoms. I've been using Zaditor for years now when ever my itchy eyes return...I Zap them with a drop of Zaditor and they are gone! The drops are long lasting too which is nice. One drop in each eye lasts me all day. All I have to say is AHHHH relief at last!

If you have allergies with itchy eyes that sometimes or frequently annoy you with that feeling that they are sticky or there is something in them, try Zaditor.
