All it succeeded in doing was making my eight-month-old vomit both times I used it. No decongestant effect either.I had better results making my own saline solution, but I was pressed for time. I ended up resorting to Vick's to get my daughter to breathe properly. Will never buy again. Pediatrician said let it be. She doesn't shed a lot of boogers on her own.What I do is put a few drops of this in each of her nostrils, wait a minute or so and then suck out the mucous with a Nosefrida The Snotsucker Nasal Aspirator. I get more mucous out when I've used these two things together than when I've used just the Nosefrida. I'm glad we have this saline solution and I have no complaints. That said, I'd like a proper aspirator too as she seems to despise having the drops put in her nose.
